Let not your heart be troubled… – John 14: 1 -2

Sondray Pernell Taylor was born August 3, 1969 to Clarence (T Bone) Johns and the late Vivian Carolyn Taylor Thomas Thompson in Picayune, Mississippi.  He was the second of four children.  At an early age, Sondray confessed Christ and was baptized at East Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Alonzo Dees.  He graduated from Picayune Memorial High School, where the record he set as the Football Team’s Line Backer (#44) remains intact and has never been broken.  He received a nickname in High School that still remains.  He was lovingly referred to as “THE BIG BOOM”.   He furthered his education at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi, where he also played Football until he was injured.  Shortly after his first year of college, Sondray moved to California.  His love for the sport was a life-long passion.
