Memorial Services for Ronald Joseph Favre, age 72, of Carriere, MS who died Friday, March 13, 2015 will be held, Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, LA, he was an attorney and a member of Michael Hingle and Associates Law Firm. Ron was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was a former law professor at Tulane and Loyola Universities. He was the deputy city attorney for the New Orleans Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse B. Favre and Eunice Tucker Favre.

Survivors include: his son, Branden W. Favre and wife Kim; step children, Stacie Messina and husband George, Suzanne Smith and husband Mark, Emile Babin and wife Lisa, Lesley Halphen and husband Michael; step grandchildren, Caitlin and Catherine Halphen.
