Beginning April 6, Pearl River Community College will offer a training program for those interested in attaining a career in the manufacturing industry.

The Pine Belt Works Basic Manufacturing Certificate Program is a hands-on 80-hour training course designed to prepare people for manufacturing careers, Hattiesburg WIN Job Center’s Branch Director Robert Huddleston said.

“The program basically assists those who are looking to work in the manufacturing area and gives them tips on what to do to get a job,” Huddleston said. “The whole intent is to make them more marketable to employers.”
