Memorial Services for Sidney Gates Worthy, age 59, of Picayune, MS who passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 will be held, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 12:00 pm in McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Harold Manning will officiate at the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Land Surveyor and a member of First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Goodwin Worthy.
Survivors include his father, Sidney Lewis Worthy; wife of over 18 loving years, Pamela Porche Worthy; daughters, Rose Veach and Chris, Kristi Worthy and Bryan Adams, Michelle St. Pierre and husband Larry, Sunshine Mitchell and husband Kenneth, Spanky Riley and husband Robert III; son, Clifford Fanguy Jr. and wife Jennifer; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Gayle Worthy and husband Gordon; brother, Alvin Worthy and wife Janet.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, in memory of Sidney G. Worthy.
