Funeral Services for Shelton Stanley Pearson , age 78 of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 2000 East Canal Street, Picayune, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Kaleb Lee will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Self Employed Framing Contractor and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Colon Pearson and Alice Mitchell Pearson; his wife of 59 years, Audrey Pearson; his son, Alvin Lamar “Marty” Pearson; and his brothers and sisters, Aretha, Letha, Helen, Audrey, Tina, Charlie, and J.C.

Survivors include his sons, Stanley Pearson and wife Kathy, Kevin Pearson and wife Bridgette, and Michael Pearson; his 8 grandchildren, Justin, Kyle, Heather, Brandi, Nicholas, Skyler, Courtland, and Audrey; his 7 great grandchildren, Aiden, Adrianne, Cody, Christian, Olivia, Hannah, and Allie; his sisters, Lucille Garcia, and Ida Mae Wright; and his brother, Claude Dale Pearson and wife Martha Lou.
