Raymond Namias, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 51 years to Carol Namias. Father of Alfred Namias, Raymond Namias, Jr., and the late John Namias. Grandfather of Nicole Namias, Dominick Namias, Jacob Namias. Great-grandfather of Buddy Weisenbaker. Son of the late Hazel Marino Namias and Anthony Namias, Sr. Brother of Rose Bourgeois and the late Anthony Namias, Jr.
Raymond was an avid hunter, fisherman and pool player.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
