Charlene Mitchell Murray, 63, of Poplarville, Mississippi, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her residence.

Memorial services will be at NEW BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 12:00 PM. Rev. Mike Reid will officiate at the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Murray was born December 2, 1953 in Picayune, Mississippi to Charles and Irene Knue Mitchell. She was a Dormitory Mother at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Family members include two children, Andrea Schaefer, John Beal, Sr.; three sisters, Elaine Lee, Elizabeth Ann Johnson, Jo Ann Lee; four grandchildren, Michaela Schaefer, Paige Schaefer, John Beal, Jr., Maria Faye Beal; and one great granddaughter, Kenley Schaefer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Murray, Sr.; and one brother, Douglas Mitchell.
