Thomas Allen “Tommy” Carroll, age 54, of Picayune, MS passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015.

Memorial Service will be private under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Construction Worker and a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. Tommy was a devoted father, loving son, beloved uncle, treasured grandfather who was much loved and will always be remembered by his family and friends. He was a very talented person whose hobbies included drawing, building, poetry, and metal fabrication. Tommy always said of himself, “I’m just a simple kind of man.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Nehemiah “Bootsie” Carroll; daddy, Rick Martinez; maternal grandparents, W. B. Smith and Lyda Lumpkin Smith Davis; paternal grandparents, John B. and Emma Smith Carroll; paternal grandfather, Jake Martinez.

Survivors include his mother, Geneva Smith Martinez; sons, James Allen Carroll and Kristina Bilbery, Derrick Veigh Robinson and his mother, Cindy Rose; granddaughter, Hannah Carroll; sisters, Emma Carroll Branch and husband Winton, Antonia “Toni” J. McCarty and husband Shawn; brother, Paul R. Martinez and Jennifer Williams; his maternal grandfather, Dave “Junior” Davis; his paternal grandmother, Antonia Trujillo Martinez; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
