In 1999, Judy Pippin, owner and broker, opened a Remax real estate office because she realized the growth that Pearl River County would experience over the next few years.
Recently, she opened a new location along U.S. 11 in Picayune.
“It’s centrally located to the highway systems,” Pippin said. “There’s land for expansion. This location provides a great opportunity for real estate.”
Now, in 2015, Pippin and her team are prepared for what she said, “will be a great year for real estate in Pearl River County.”
Picayune’s Remax Premier Group moved into their new locale on Highway 11 North on Dec. 15. The group was previously located at 417 Memorial Blvd.
“The opportunity to acquire a new building presented itself and will provide our group with the essentials to expand our agent base and render better client service,” Pippin said.
Pippin has 30 years of banking experience as a real estate, commercial and construction lender. She previously worked at National American in New Orleans and Southwest Bank in California. She is also the former vice-president of Picayune’s Hancock Bank.
Remax Premier Group is home to 11 agents, Pippin and two office employees.
“There is a wealth of experience here,” Pippin said. “Collectively, we have more than 150 years of experience. We are the number one real estate group in Pearl River County in both transactions and volume.”
According to Pippin, Remax offers marketing programs for agents to learn about marketing properties both nationally and internationally.
“I attribute our success to God’s blessings and one of those is having excellent agents who serve the public and great clients who support us,” Pippin said. “The agent staff here is truly a great staff of professionals in this industry who have their client’s best interest at heart. The real estate market has improved over the last couple of years and 2015 is going to be a great year. Pearl River County has a great future.”
Remax Premier Group serves clients in Pearl River County and some surrounding areas including north Hancock County.
The business’ new address is 1605 Hwy. 11 N. Suite A. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Pippin said agents are available as needed by clients outside of business hours by appointment only.
