Geronimo R. Munoz, age 64, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Highland Community Hospital.

Visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Munoz was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a resident of Picayune for 10 years, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Kenner, Louisiana.

He is survived by his daughters, Tina Hickman and her husband Tony of Picayune, Teresa Bean of Picayune, and Kristen Sanders and her husband Greg of Picayune; brothers, Julian Munoz, Sr. of Picayune, and Daniel Munoz, Sr. of Kenner, Louisiana; sisters, Yolanda Munoz of Kenner, Louisiana, and Deanna Munoz of Kenner, Louisiana; and seven grandchildren, Kyle Hickman, Ashley Hickman, Anthony Hickman, Jr., Kelcey Bennett, Carmen Neff, Xander Neff, and Alex Bean.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Ninfa Munoz; and brother, Francisco Munoz, Jr. In lieu of flowers the family requests live plants or donations.
