Funeral Services for Arthur Joseph “Joey” Phillips, Jr., age 59, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, will be heldFriday, November 14, 2014, at 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Robin Martin and Bro. Blake Anderson will officiate the service.

A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a Chief Engineer and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Joseph Phillips, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Penton.

Survivors include his loving wife of over thirty wonderful years, Kathy D. Phillips; mother, Louella Flanders Randolph; three sons, Arthur J. Phillips III and wife Gina, son, Robert Phillips Sr. and wife Tiffany, Ralph Penton, Derek Penton and Jon; daughter, Melissa Ruble and husband Donnie; ten grandchildren, Ian, Robert Jr, Kayleb, Jaycob, Trinidad, Adam, Brandon, Walter, Mason and Jamie and husband Steve; six great grandchildren, Peyton, Rylee, Jake, Liam, Landon, and Kaiden, sister, Alice Guidry and husband Steve; four brothers, Jesse Phillips and wife Danielle, Louis Phillips and wife Linda, Timothy Phillips, Donald Phillips and wife Tammy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
