Valerie Anthony Hamann, Sr., age 84, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamann was a welder and ship fitter, and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in
Violet, Louisiana.He is survived by sons, Valerie Anthony (Deborah) Hamann, Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, Parker F. (Cathy) Hamann of Poydras, Louisiana, and Dwain Hamann of Poydras, Louisiana; daughters, Mary Lee (Raymond) Keim of Picayune, Mississippi, and Tammy Ann (Tony) Martin of Shelby, North Carolina; brothers, Louis V. Lambou of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Ronald D. Hamann of New Orleans, Louisiana; sister, Laura Eschete of Pearl River, Louisiana; thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his father Frank Hamann; mother, Viola Lambou; wife Mary Lilly Lee Hamann; and sister, Emily Wise.
