Funeral Services for Retha Horne Fowler, age 93 of Carriere, MS, who passed away peacefully Friday, October 17, 2014 will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00am at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am service time at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Blackshear, GA, she employed by Gannett Corporation. Retha was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Pearl Horne; her husband, Minor L. Dickerson, who was killed in the Philippines during WWII; her great grandson, Nicholas (Nick) Mangiaracina; and 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Woodward and husband Charles, and Linda McLean and husband Jack; her step daughter, Donna Ramlow; her step son, Ricky Fowler and wife Laura; her 7 grandchildren, Margaret, Charlene, Linda, Leah, Charlie, Robin, and Kim; and her 6 great grandchildren.
