Mary Ella Smith, 81, of Poplarville, Mississippi, died Monday, October 1, 2014 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be at Juniper Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 289 Juniper Grove Road, Poplarville on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 am.

Ms. Smith was a member of First Baptist Church – Poplarville; was a retired educator in the Mississippi school system for 37 years. She held memberships in: Order of Eastern Star; Pearl River County Hospital Auxiliary; Poplarville Garden Club; Poplarville Woman’s Club; and Jackson County Retired Teachers Association.

Family members include three nephews; one great-niece; three great nephews; extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louella Smith; and one sister.

Vistiation will be one hour prior to the service at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
