Margie Lee Seal, 89, of Poplarville, Mississippi, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be at RED HILL BAPTIST CHURCH, 22 Stone County Road, Lumberton, Mississippi, 39455 on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at White Funeral Home, Poplarville on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Mrs. Seal was retired from Movie Star, Inc. and was the last surviving charter member of Red Hill Baptist Church. She was a past member of Pearl River County Nursing Auxillary; long time member of Pearl River County Homemakers Club; member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 100; and was active for many years in the Pearl River County Fair – winning many ribbons for her exhibits.
Family members include three children, Carolyn Smith, Dempsey Seal, both of Poplarville, MS, Marilyn (Marshall) Young of Newport News, VA; nine sisters, Hazel Spataro, Nell Smith, Bea (Bobby) Lee, all of Gulfport, MS, Evelyn Tootle, Susie King, both of Saucier, MS, Fannie (Bill) Cromer of Warner Robins, GA, Gladys Hauk of Indianapolis, IN, Betty Hickman of Wiggins, MS, Dianne Stewart of New Ellenton, SC; ten brothers, Arlon (Reba) Lee, Robert A. (Bonnie) Lee, both of Poplarville, MS, Gary Lee of Mt Hermann, LA, Robert F. (Sarah) Lee, Jr. of Mobile, AL, David Lee of Gainesville, GA, Michael (Colin) Lee of Bishop, GA, Johnny (Lisa) Lee of Monroe, GA, Marvin Lee, Leroy (Gladys) Lee, both of Perkinston, MS, Jerry (Kathy) Lee, of Saucier, MS; eleven grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren; and eighteen great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. Lee, Sr. and Myrtle Chadwick Rester; her husband, Earl B. Seal; and one brother, Adolph Lee.
