Infant Artis Joseph “A.J.” Garcia, II passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Monday, September 8, 2014 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Head officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Family members include his parents, Joe and Allison Edwards Garcia; four siblings, Justin Rodgers, Laynee Rodgers, Tristan Rodgers, Jozee Garcia; paternal grandparents, Ricky Garcia and Rita Hyatt Garcia; maternal grandmother, Teresa Edwards; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Hyatt; maternal great-grandmothers, Sylvia Edwards and Ida Wright; a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Daniel Edwards.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Oak Hill Baptist Church Children’s Ministry.
