Mr. Jerry Lee Hensley, 65, of Poplarville, Miss., passed away Friday August 29, 2014.

Memorial services will be 5 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Oak Hill Baptist Church, 589 Oak Hill Road, Poplarville, MS 39470 with Rev. Ed King officiating. Mr. Hensley was born December 10, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was a retired manager with Matress Direct in Hattiesburg. He attended Oak Hill Baptist Church and was an alumnus of Oklahoma State University.

Family members include his wife, Maria Hensley of Poplarville; four children, Jeremy Hensley, Jenny Hensley, Lauren Herrin, Lane Herrin; his mother, Mrs. Jean Hensley; six grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard Dice Hensley; and one brother, Gary Hensley.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
