Funeral Mass for Lisa Brady Pitts, 53, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. 

Father John Noone will officiate the service. Fellowship in Parish Hall immediately following Mass.

A native of New Orleans, La., Lisa called Picayune, Miss. home for 28 years. She began her 22-year-long career at Roseland Park Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher’s assistant, eventually becoming the computer lab teacher. She also utilized her other talents and interests by operating a small in-home photography business for several years.

Lisa’s passions for the beach and her beloved Mackie dog were only surpassed by her love for her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was happiest surrounded by her three sons and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Brady. 

She is survived by her husband of 37 years Dennis Pitts; three sons John, Brady, and Trevor Pitts; two grandchildren, Julia and John Sullivan Pitts; her mother and stepfather, Nina and Bill Hendriksen; one brother, Harold Brady III; and one sister, Carla Brady Anderson.
