Memorial Services for Charles Edward Walters, 83, of Carriere, who passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 11:00 am at West Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Union Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate the service.

A native of Laurel, Miss., he was a retired maintenance employee from Picayune Memorial School and J.I. Luke Enterprises. Charles was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jordan B. Walters and Annie Mae Byrd Walters; his daughter, Dorothy Jean White; and his sisters, Ocie Dibuono, Judy Strickland, and Maxine Liciardi.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Tina Stockstill Walters; his children, Tillmon Spiers and wife Stacey, Rodney Spiers, and Amanda Stewart and husband Kirby; 8 grandchildren, Scott, Cody, Adam, Rendi, Jacob, Carly, Jennifer, and Stephen; his siblings, Richard Walters, T.J. Walters, Dickie Walters and wife Sharon, Elba Mae Jacobs, and Donna Walters Smith and husband Leon.
