Penny Sue Yost Fortenberry, 62, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. A Memorial Service held by the family will follow from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Mrs. Fortenberry was a resident of Pearl River County and a RN at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Yost and Lora Ava Close Yost.

She is survived by: husband, Jim Fortenberry of Picayune; step-mother, Marge “Wahge” Yost; sons: Johnathan (Regina) Rahmel of Tupelo, Miss., Jason (Pamela) Rahmel of Poplarville, Miss., and Beau (Courtney) Rahmel of Carriere, Miss.; step-daughter, Angelia Fortenberry of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; brother, Jay C. (Trudy) Yost of Lompoc, Calif.; sister, Beth (Craig) Nelson of Lacombe, La.; grandchildren: Tyler, John-Logan, Justin, Ashli, and Seth; and three step-grandchildren.
