Nellie K. Broadhead, 79, of Carriere, Miss., passed away Friday, June 20, 2014.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 9 – 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Wayne Broadhead and Bro. Vernon Watts officiating. Burial will be at Henleyfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Broadhead was a Nurse’s Aide and a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Dempsey and Ollie Speagle; husband, Jessie Broadhead; brothers, Jimmie Speagle, Troy Speagle, and Jerry Speagle; sisters, Hazel Henry and Martha Johnson.

 She is survived by: son, Wayne Broadhead of Kiln, Miss.,; daughters, Rose Roberson of Henleyfield, Miss., Freda Garcia of Henleyfield, and Paula Garcia of Henleyfield; brother, Robert Speagle of Pascagoula, Miss.; sisters, Myrtle Smith of Laurel, and Shirley Green of Alabama; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
