Funeral Services for James Royce Perry, 76, of  Carriere, Miss., who passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McNeill.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McNeill.

Burial will be in First Baptist Church of Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Tim Parker and Bro. Larry Pickering will officiate the service.

A native of Henleyfield, Miss., he was a Minister and a member of First Baptist Church of McNeill. Bro. Royce was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was a devout Christian. He never missed and opportunity to share the gospel with everyone and tell of the love of His Savi

He served in the US Navy for four years and was a very loving and giving person who thought of his fellow man before himself.

He was preceded in death by: his loving wife of over 51 wonderful years, Marilyn Yvonne Perry; his parents, Quitman Perry, Rebecca Versie Smi

th Perry and Tressie Perry; his son, William Brent Perry; his four grandchildren, Jackson Perry, Lil’ Jonathan Roberts, Chele Rhiannon Byrd, and Devan Brent Byrd.

Survivors include: his two sons, James Kirtis Perry, Shannon Ray Perry; his daughter, Cecil Rebecca Perry Byrd and husband Evan; his eight grandchildren: Brittany, Dakotah, Nicholas, Cody, Matthew, Jake, Savannah, and Tyler; his four great grandchildren: Jordan, Kariyah, Landon, and Khiley; his  three sisters, Rita, Sylvia, Annette; his two brothers, Raymond and Chick.
