Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. in East Jerusalem Baptist Church, for Sis. Annie Lois Jones. Pastor Brian K. Dees will officiate.

Sis. Annie Lois Bonner Jones, daughter of the late Master and Maggie Bonner Gray was born in Morton, Miss., on May 27, 1940. On Tuesday, April 1, 2014, God called her home to rest from her labor.

Annie joined church at an early age at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Wollard. She later united with East Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Alonzo Dees, and continued to her leadership under Pastor Brian K. Dees until her health continued to fail. She was a faithful servant. She was an active member of the EJMBC Mission II Auxiliary and Church Sunday School.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Adolph Jones; parents, Master and Maggie Bonner; three sisters: Patsy “Mary” Bonner Sprigs, Emma Mae Freeman and Burnstine Brown; and six brothers: Jerry Henderson, Joe, Willie, Ben, Lynn and Eddie Lee Bonner.

Her memories will be cherished by: two sons, Cedric (Gloria) Jones of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Len (Alisha) Jones of Picayune, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives an friends. Annie will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
