Geraldine Meitzler, 76, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Burial is under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Meitzler was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a homemaker, and a Baptist.

She is survived by daughters, Kathy (Steve) Kellar of Picayune and Mary Kennedy of Picayune; sister, Katherine Irene Freimanis of Carriere; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack H. Mitchell and Eugena Pearl McQueen; two daughters, Cheryl and Tina; and three brothers, Hugo Mitchell, Lester Mitchell and Mackie Gene Mitchell.
