Funeral Services for Ronald T. Stockstill , 61, of  Carriere, Miss., will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 12 p.m. at Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 10-12 p.m. at Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Billy Ferrell will officiate the service.

Ronnie, Dad and Pappa Ronnie to those who loved him, went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 14, 2014. He was a master carpenter, loved to play basketball and softball, and enjoyed watching movies. The greatest joys of his life were his two sons and his six grandchildren. He was a great help to many people and never refused anyone in need. He loved the Lord and expressed this often to his family and instilled in them to follow God, always be good to people, respect others, and work hard. He was a simple man who fought a good fight and is now no longer battling sickness and pain. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Hilburn “H.K.” Stockstill and Hazel Lee Alexander Stockstill; a sister, Carrie Lee Stockstill; and a great niece, Chloe Elise Whitfield.

Survivors include: his two sons,  Jeremy T. Stockstill and wife Phaedra and Jordan T. Stockstill and fiancée Cassandra Frierson; his six grandchildren: Raven, Stevenkade, Kyle, Tristian, Jonathan, and Tuesday; his brother, Butch Stockstill and wife Paula; his four sisters: Carolyn Harris and husband Leon, Peggy Pell, Brenda Whitfield and husband Arthur, Alesia Curbo; 12 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews.
