Eugene Lewis Stafford, 74, of Poplarville, Miss. (formerly of Waveland), died Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.
Mr. Stafford was a retired mechanic with Mason Exxon/Firestone; a US Army Veteran; member of Pearlington Masonic Lodge; and attended Lighthouse of Hope in Poplarville. He enjoyed woodworking and his animals.
His father, Wallace Eugene Stafford precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Stafford; six children, Donna Craft, Michael Stafford, Patty Hatfield, Steven Stafford, Nicola Fish, Kimberly McQueen; his mother, Nora Stafford; five sisters, Elaine Vansickle, Monalee Johnston, Diana Cook, Yvonne Guilds, Mary Butler; one brother, Duane Stafford; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Memorial services will be 6:30 pm; Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Lighthouse of Hope; 1204 S Main Street; Poplarville, MS 39470. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
