Daniel Layne Edwards, 63, of Carriere, Miss., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery.

Mr. Edwards was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, lived in Pearl River County for forty-five years, and was a warehouse workman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Edwards; and brother, Mark Edwards

He is survived by: his mother, Sylvia Layne Edwards of Carriere; wife, Teresa Edwards of Carriere; daughters, Allison Garcia of Poplarville, Emily Edwards of Picayune and Sara Edwards of Carriere; brother, Brian Edwards of Picayune; sisters, Joan Bryant of Arkansas, Rhonda Lindseth of Carriere, Cathy Fatt of Indiana and Christine Warren of Tennessee; one grandson and four granddaughters.
