Basheba “Sheba” Kaye Mullins

Funeral Services for Basheba “Sheba” Kaye Mullins, 64, of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home and again on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. service time.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Miss., Sheba worked at Picayune Schools for over 20 years, AAA Ambulance, and was a Counselor Assistant for Mississippi Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. She was a member of New Palestine Baptist Church, a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Ray Burge.

Survivors include: her mother, Juanita Davis Burge; her son, Jeffrey Mullins and wife Cheri; her daughter, Jennifer Mullins House; her four granddaughters: Morgan  Mullins, Erin Mullins, Madison House, Natalie House; and her brother, Douglas H. Burge and wife June.
