Irma Louise Brown, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 1:40 p.m. at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Maurice, La.; as per her wishes there will be no services.

Burial will take place New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, Miss.

Irma, a resident of Lafayette, La., was the daughter of the late Robert Davis and the former Stella Moolekamp both of Hancock County, Miss.

Irma was a resident of New Orleans, La., until 2000 where she was a beautician for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.

She is survived by: her daughter, Brenda B Fuselier and her husband Dr. John L. Fuselier; her two granddaughters, Denise Fuselier Benton and her husband Jeffery, and Jeannne Marie Fuselier Fitzgerald and her husband Charlie; her eight great-grandchildren: Jeanne Claire Benton, Joseph Benton, Anthony Benton, Christopher Benton, Alex Benton, Patrick Fitzgerald, John Henry Fitzgerald and Annalise Fitzgerald.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Pelican Pointe Nursing Home and Hospice of Acadiana for the compassion and care extended to their mother.  Memorial donations in the name of Irma Brown may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street Suite 200, Lafayette, LA  70503.
