Funeral Services for Gloria Gennette “Jeanette” Walker, 90, of  Carriere, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014, will be held Friday, February 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 7- 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Tim Parker will officiate the service.

A native of Hillsdale, Miss., she was a retired Supervisor in the food service industry, a Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas A. Stockstill and Roena Odom Stockstill; her husband, Richard Walker; her daughter, Linda Jarrell; her granddaughter, Mary Angela Walker; her two brothers, Theodore Stockstill and an infant brother; and her six sisters, Irene Lee, Vera Lee, Vernice Lee, Ardella Lee, Elmo Dunnaway, and Valerie Parillo.

Survivors include: her son, Herman Walker; her granddaughter, Deborah Ann Woods and husband Chris; her six great-grandchildren: Kelly, Bridget, Holly, Brad, Deven, and Gage; her adopted granddaughter, Beth Lee; her two adopted great grandchildren, Paula and Jessica; and her adopted great great grandchild, Cameron.
