Campbell, Curtis Wayne002Memorial Visitation Services for Curtis Wayne Campbell, 78, of Henleyfield, Miss., who passed away February 2, 2014, will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Denham Springs, La., he was a retired Electrical Engineer from Stennis Space Center. He was an LSU graduate from the class of 1960. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a grandfather. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were so special to him. He enjoyed spending time playing with all of them. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, who loved his family. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed sharing stories with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Curtis L. Campbell and Grace Simeon Campbell; his two sons, Michael Wayne Campbell, and Donald Glenn Campbell; his grandson, Dustin Jarrell; his sister, Barbara Arnold; and his brother, James W. Campbell.

Survivors include: his loving wife of over 61 wonderful years, Barbara Thompson Campbell; his son, Samuel Curtis Campbell; his two daughters, Suzanne Campbell, and Jan Johnson and husband Winston; five grandchildren: Paul Hodnett and wife Reva, Misty Penton and husband Eric, Colby Jarrell and Arielle, Jacy Jarrell and Brooks, and Barbara Campbell; 10 great-grandchildren: Alex, Amber, and Halley Hodnett, Shelby and Meadow Jarrell, Hanna and Kyle Penton, Jesse Palmer, Ariah Jarrell and Kolbie Smith; his little sister, Glenda Bernard and husband Spencer; his two brothers-in-law, Lester Arnold and Buddy Thompson; and his three sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Arnold, Mary Thompson, and Janette Whittington.
