Robert Gregory Taylor, a resident of Crossroads, Miss., 54, born on July 8, 1959 in Picayune, Miss., passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, La.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Spaulding Taylor; two daughters, Alissa Taylor (Derek) Thomas and Lauren Elizabeth Taylor; one sister, Gina (Richard) Smith; one brother, Gralin (Debra) Taylor all of Crossroads, Miss; five nieces and nephews: Josh Taylor, Jared Smith, Zack Smith, Duke Bennett and Charmane Wheat; four great-nieces and nephews: Jakeob Taylor, Jaxton (George) Taylor, Tristian Wheat and Jessica Carroll; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Taylor and Elgie Faye Crain Taylor.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Pete Underwood and the Rev. Tommy Pittman, Jr., officiating. Interment to follow at Paige Cemetery in Crossroads, Miss.

Active Pallbearers will be, Til White, Paul Ball, Richard Strahan, Richard Smith, Fred Cochran and Todd Bergeron.
