Dr. Walter Dees, Jr.

Native Picayunian, Dr. Walter Dees, Jr., passed away January 8, 2014 in Phoenix, Ariz., at the age of 80.

He is survived by: his faithful mother, Mrs. Katie Bock Dees of Picayune, Miss.; two loving daughters, Ursula (Michael) Randolph of Alberqurque, N.M and Simone (John) Lake of Payson, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Parker an Elizabeth Randolph; seven siblings: Calvin (Oletha) Dees of Baker, La., Paul (Lorene) Dees of Richmond, Calif., Alice Dees, Pearl D. Ducré, Willie Earl (Gladys) Dees and Edward Parker, all of Picayune, and Evelyn Walker of Gulfport, Miss.

Services are 9 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 7102 N. 58th Drive, Glendale, AZ 85301.
