Thanksgiving dinner free to all communities

The 28th annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner in Bay St. Louis, Miss., will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at the American Legion Hall, 645 Green Meadow Road.

The dinner is sponsored by the Kelly Family, who lives in Gulfport, Perkinston, Petal, Soso, and in other states, in partnership with the BSL American Legion, which graciously donates the use their building every year. Local merchants contribute food and services as a way to give back to the community, and to make this an enjoyable time to thank God and have fellowship.

The sit down, restaurant-style dinner is open to all communities and includes turkey and all the trimmings.

Take out dinners are also available. Deliveries will also be made to the homebound only in Bay St. Louis, Waveland and Hancock County.

The homebound in these areas need to call now to reserve a place on the list at 601-223-7349 or e-mail nkellygirl@yahoo.com, and include your complete name, address, phone number and number of meals needed.

Homebound meals reservations are due by Saturday, Nov. 23.

Door prizes will also be given away again this year.
