Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Lighthouse of Pentecostal for Mr. Richard Donald Hawkins, 54, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away October 4, 2013 in his home. The Rev. Harvey Bernard will officiate over the services.

Richard was born on October 11, 1958 to the late Oscar Hawkins and Mary Helen Hawkins Griffin. He leaves behinds to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Sharon Goss Hawkins of Picayune; his children: Latoya Brumfield of Franklinton, La., and Richie Brumfield (Amanda) of Picayune; his siblings: Cynthia Rice (Quovadis) of Picayune, Pamela Barnes (Jason) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Paul Hawkins of Georgia, Douglas Hawkins Sr. of Picayune, Oscar Hawkins Jr. (Jeanett) of Picayune and James McCullum (Rose) of Mississippi; two aunts, Frankie Ware of Florida and Allene Cole of Georgia; two uncles, Martin Fields of New York and Terry Fields of Picayune; two grandchildren, Zy’keria and Za’leah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
