Myrtle Parr Baehr, 88, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Highland Community Hospital.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Mass will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune, Miss., at 11 a.m. with Father Mike Snyder officiating. Burial will be at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens in Chalmette, La., under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Myrtle was a accounting technician of the U.S. Government and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

Survivors include: one son, Ronald J. Thompson of Slidell, La.; one daughter, Kathleen Schwab of Carriere, Miss.; four grandchildren: Jennifer Nickens, Steven Thompson, Kristin Schwab, and Bobby Schwab, III; and two great-grandchildren, Brendan Nickens and Ashlyn Nickens.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Walter “Ti” Baehr; a son, Kenneth Thompson; and a grandson, Jeffrey Thomson.
