Funeral Services for John M. Polston, 58, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel .
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home .
Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Carl Heberg will officiate the service.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he was an Electrician for Lockheed Martin and a member of the Protestant Faith. John was a member of the Washington Artillery Fourth Company and a Marine Corps Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Polston and Lena Evans Polston.
Survivors include: his wife of over 37 years, Frances L. Polston; his son, Larry K. Abbott and wife Sheree; his two daughters, Shala C. Bannister and husband Jason, Nakia L. Dugas and husband Neil; nine grandchildren: Chad, Tre, Bailey, Shelton, Peyton, Ariena, Chance, Taylor, and Colton; his two brothers and sister, Jimmy Polston and wife Cheryl, Karen Polston, and Roger Polston; several nieces and nephews including: Christa, Heather, Josh, Tiffany and Donny; two brothers in law and sisters in law, Danny, Tony and Gena.
