Funeral services for Wylene Trotter, 51, a native of Columbia, Miss., will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Pastor Joey Mark will officiate at the service.
Wylene Trotter was born May 17, 1961 to the late Arthur Trotter and Eloise Trotter. Wylene was reared in Columbia, where she attended Columbia High School.
She later relocated to Picayune, Miss., with family where she united with New Beginnings Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Joey Mark, where she served on the Usher Board. She was previously employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken, Days Inn, and was also a caregiver. Wylene was a very friendly, outgoing person. She always wore a smile. Any time she encountered someone needing assistance, she would gladly come to their aid. She didn’t mind cleaning houses and running errands for the elderly.
Wylene ended her earthly existence on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 when God dispatched His death angels to claim another soldier.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Eloise Trotter; and two sisters, Elinda Trotter and Arlena Trotter. She leaves to cherish her memories: her siblings, Odie Mae Trotter, Donnis Trotter, Brenda Trotter, Larry Trotter, Gerlene Trotter, and Concieta Jenkins; her paternal grandparents, Stella and Arthur Trotter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Browns Funeral Home (601)798-4469.
