Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Progress Missionary Baptist Church, 4620 North Williamburg Road, Bassfield, MS 39428 for Robert Earl Price, of Picayune, Miss.

The Rev. Gerald Hudson will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the Progress Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

Robert was born to the late Rev. Louis E. and Georgia A. Taylor Price on August 24, 1954 in Bassfield , Miss. and entered his heavenly home on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the VAMC-Biloxi, Miss.

He was a great humble man, farmer, welder, sandblaster, brick layer, graduate of Bassfield High School Class of 1974, Carson Vo-Tech Center and a United State Army veteran.

Robert leaves to embrace his memories: two sons, Joseph (Felicia ) Applewhite of Bassfield, and Kendrick (Veronica ) Applewhite of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Pamela Walker of Grand Blanc, Mich.; one brother, Louis Earl Price of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Cathy Ann Price and Lee Joyce Washington both of Picayune; four grandchildren; Jomez Applewhite, Joseph Jr. Applewhite, Kenric Grandberry, Ashten Appplewhite, Kyzar (KJ) Applewhite resting in peace; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The pain of leaving those you grow to love is only the prelude to an understanding of yourself and others.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5-7p.m. in Brown’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS 39466 (601)798-4469.
