Two people charged in the 2009 beating death of a Natchez man have each been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Natchez Democrat reports 41-year-old Lizzie Ann Madison and 42-year-old Paul McBeth Green pleaded guilty Tuesday to manslaughter in Adams County Circuit Court.

Prosecutors say 61-year-old Clark Felton Jr. was beaten to death with a cane at his home.

Circuit Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson gave Madison and Green credit on their sentences for the three years each has served.
