About 30 volunteers with New South Access and Environmental (New South Equipment Mats) from Madison donated their time and money to plant about 2,000 black gum trees at the Arboretum’s Gum Pond exhibit on Saturday. The effort was part of the Arboretum’s Earth Day celebration.
