Funeral Services for A. Irene Dodds, 100, of Picayune, Miss., who went to be with her Savior and Lord, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in Picayune, will be held Friday, April 20, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2012 from 12-2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Josh Braddy will officiate at the service.

A native of Monroe, Iowa, Mrs. Irene resided at Southern Oaks Personal Care Center in Picayune. She was a Homemaker and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church for over 30 years during which time she participated in many mission trips to Russia and Mexico.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank Hise, and Anna E. Doedyns Hise; her husband, Roy H. Dodds; her stepson, Lawrence  L. Dodds; and her brothers, Doyle Koder and Wayne Koder.

Survivors include: her stepson, Lester Dodds; her granddaughter, Roberta DeJaynes; her grandsons, Larry Dodds, and Kendell Ray Dodds; and seven great-grandchildren.
