The Pearl River Central High School Blue Maskers recently performed and competed at the Mississippi Thespian Conference at Pearl High School in Pearl, February 10th and 11th.

Over 150 students from eight schools attend the conference and competed in individual events and the one-act presentations. The following Blue Maskers received all-superiors for their individual events and invitations to perform at the International Thespian Festival in June at the University of Nebraska: Curt Loveless and Mitch Hunter for acting duet; Skylend Roussell for musical solo and Amanda Campbell, Ardan Thornhill and Brandon Keeney for monologues.

The Blue Maskers’ one-act of “Shakuntala  and the Ring of Recollection” received the state’s runner-up award. PRCHS faculty member,Deborah Craig is the sponsor for the Blue Maskers.
