Hilda Hoffman Archive and Museum announces soft opening

The Hilda Hoffmann Archive and Museum will open its doors Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to. 3 p.m., beginning January 16th with a Grand Opening planned for April.

Available are Hilda’s genealogies (approximately 140 boxes), cemetery records, books, pictures, maps and the beginning of a museum which will reflect periods of our past. There is no charge for coming in, browsing the Museum section, or pulling files for research. Copying will be charged for and priced at standard rates.

If you have family pictures or documents you would like to preserve, please bring them in. We can also provide a permanent storage space for those items.

We are also looking for artifacts for the museum. Items can be either be loaned or donated as tax deductible donations. Each artifact displayed will recognize the owner or donor. Date range is 1950 or before and should be items or models no longer used.
