A Mass of Christian Burial for Gilbert L. O’Flynn, 77, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 in Gulfport, Miss., will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Ellisville Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of Laurel, Miss., he was an Electrician, a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by: his parents: John P. O’Flynn and Vila Finch O’Flynn; and four brothers: William C. O’Flynn, John W. O’Flynn, Martin O’Flynn and Charles R. O’Flynn.

Survivors include: his wife, Anna May Bonner O’Flynn of Carriere; and his brothers and sisters: Patrick O’Flynn of Ellisville, Miss., Mary Kelly of Jackson, Miss., Robert H. O’Flynn of Slidell, La., Timothy O’Flynn of Spanish Fort, Ala., Joseph J. O’Flynn of Carriere, and Michael A. O’Flynn of Biloxi, Miss.
