On Thursday, August 18th, Pearl River County officials and the Pearl River County Hospital Board of Trustees welcomed Dr. Chris Schwartz and his staff to the Pearl River County community as they have joined Dr. Charles Griffith and his staff at PrimeCare Family Health of Poplarville, a division of Pearl River County Hospital. PrimeCare Family Health of Poplarville is formerly known as Pearl River Family Clinic.

Pearl River County officials, Pearl River County Hospital Board of Trustees, citizens, and staff members helped celebrate the grand opening of PrimeCare Family Health with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The event was kicked off with a welcoming speech from Mr. Mike Boleware, Pearl River County Hospital Administrator. Boleware announced, “As of today, we are now PrimeCare Family Health of Poplarville.” 

Dr. Charles Griffith spoke briefly about the vision of PrimeCare and described it as “old-time medicine with modern technology.” Dr. Griffith explained that the main focus of this vision is to concentrate on each patient by “taking care of the whole person.” 

With twenty years experience of specializing in family medicine, Dr. Chris Schwartz at PrimeCare Family Health of Poplarville is looking forward to serving the community. The facility is located at 302 Hwy 11.
