Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Chanda Cheree Frierson Lavigne, 35, of Picayune who passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Lumberton.

Burial will be in Lee’s Chapel #2 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Pastor Orean Spence will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a loving Mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be truly missed by all.

Survivors include: her parents, Steve Frierson of Nicholson and Shirley Hyatt Knight of Picayune; her sons, Richan “Blake” Strickland of Nicholson and Elijah Steven Lavigne of Carriere; her sister, Jena Rebecca Bilbo of Picayune; her brother, Matthew Osman Spooner of Picayune; her step-grandfather, Lucius Marshall of Picayune; her nephew who she was very close to, Chance Bilbo; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
