Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 12 p.m. in Trinity United Methodist Church for Joann Faye Bowles, 62, of Carriere, who passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in New Orleans, La. Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, she was a RN/Patient Care Manager at Touro Infirmary and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Picayune, active in Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, past Angel Tree Director and past Emaus Director at United Methodist Church in Lake Vista and Youth Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bowles received a BSN from the College of St. Francis in New Orleans, and RN degree for Sinclair College in Dayton.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Arland Daniels; and her mother, Juanita Delores Daniels.

Survivors include: her husband, Larry Bowles of Carriere; two sons, Scott Alan Bowles of Chalmette, La. and Kevin Lee Bowles of Carriere; and grandchildren, Jason Bowles and Kathryn Bowles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.
