CAR FIRE — Picayune firefighters pack their gear Thursday afternoon after putting out a vehicle fire at the intersection of Quince Street and Goodyear Boulevard. The owner of the vehicle, Rich Gary, said over the past couple of days he noticed a burning smell coming from the heater. No one was injured as a result, said Picayune Police Deputy Chief David Ervin.
