A private memorial service will be held for Mary Joan Hayden, 74, of Picayune who passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at her residence.

Mary was born in Hancock County and lived in the Picayune area for twenty years. She was a Flight Attendant with Delta Airlines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wylie Frierson, Sr. and Leona Frierson.

She is survived by: her husband, Joseph Hayden of Picayune; one son, James H. Preiss of Marco Island, Fla.; one brother, Wylie (Carol) Frierson, Jr. of Saucier; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
